The standard package includes two, 1 cu ft, sealed enclosures, each housing a
12” woofer.
The floating grill, designed as a “Cat Guard”, will also fend off small children
and grandchildren.
It's been said that this setup provides for a "seamless integration" with the main loudspeakers. Not an easy feat.
The Little Browns are modeled after an old set of speakers that have been in the Burwell family for many years. We always loved to bring along something to listen to tailgating or camping, and the little brown set fit in the backseat unlike the big black A7’s that needed a pickup truck. More appropriately sized for a smaller venue, the little browns filled many a campground or stadium parking lot quite nicely.
We were commissioned by a group of gentlemen we met through the NwBlk design gallery to build a sound system for an art bus project they were building for the Burning Man festival in Nevada.
Having borrowed our Little Brown set the previous year, they got a taste of the Burwell horn sound experience and were ready to step it up a notch. What fun!
